About This Event

Cranial adjusting has a long history in the profession and has a beneficial affect on the nervous system, meningeal tension and cerebrospinal fluid dynamics. In this course, we will examine the analysis and adjusting techniques for frequently occurring cranial, TMJ, and upper cervical subluxation patterns.

Learning Objectives

  • -Understand the anatomical and physiological basis of cranial bone mobility and its relationship to nervous system function
  • -Identify common cranial, TMJ, and upper cervical subluxation patterns through palpation and analysis techniques
  • -Demonstrate safe and effective cranial adjusting techniques for the frontal, parietal, temporal, and sphenoid bones
  • -Assess meningeal tension and its effects on cerebrospinal fluid dynamics and patient symptoms
  • -Apply craniosacral therapy principles to address TMJ dysfunction and associated headache patterns
  • -Integrate cranial adjusting protocols into clinical practice with proper patient assessment and documentation
  • -Recognize contraindications and develop appropriate referral criteria for cranial cases
