About This Event
Cranial adjusting has a long history in the profession and has a beneficial affect on the nervous system, meningeal tension and cerebrospinal fluid dynamics. In this course, we will examine the analysis and adjusting techniques for frequently occurring cranial, TMJ, and upper cervical subluxation patterns.
Learning Objectives
- -Identify anatomical landmarks and palpation techniques for accurate cranial bone assessment
- -Apply evidence-based cranial adjusting protocols for common subluxation patterns affecting the cranium, TMJ, and upper cervical spine
- -Explain the relationship between meningeal tension, cerebrospinal fluid dynamics, and nervous system function
- -Evaluate patient presentations to determine appropriate cranial and TMJ manipulation versus contraindications
- -Demonstrate proper hand positioning and force application for safe and effective cranial technique delivery
- -Integrate cranial therapy assessment findings into comprehensive treatment planning for complex cases
