CranioSacral Therapy for the Modern Practice
About This Event
Cranial adjusting has a long history in the profession and has a beneficial effect on the nervous system, meningeal tension, and cerebrospinal fluid dynamics. In this course, we will examine the analysis and adjusting techniques for frequently occurring cranial, TMJ, and upper cervical subluxation patterns. The main objective of the class is to aid Chiropractors in improving the treatment of patients who suffer from headaches, head pain, TMJ issues, sinus problems, and overall body distortion. Dr. Humberg will review observations, cranial sutures, palpating specific regions, the sphenoid, muscle testing, and specific adjustments that you can use the next day in your office.
Learning Objectives
- -Understand the anatomical basis of cranial subluxation patterns and their effects on nervous system function, meningeal tension, and cerebrospinal fluid dynamics
- -Master palpation techniques for identifying cranial sutures, sphenoid dysfunction, and other cranial landmarks relevant to clinical assessment
- -Learn and practice specific cranial and TMJ adjusting techniques applicable to common subluxation patterns
- -Apply muscle testing methods to assess cranial and upper cervical dysfunction
- -Develop treatment strategies for patients presenting with headaches, migraines, TMJ disorders, and sinus-related conditions
- -Understand how cranial adjustments address overall body postural distortion and structural imbalances
