About This Event
This program is specifically designed for the student and new graduate, or that chiropractor who perhaps graduated some time ago, but is not 100% confident in their management of children. This program supports you step by step through your pediatric journey. At the completion of the program, you will have the confidence and the skill to safely assess, adjust and manage pediatric patients of all ages. This program comprehensively covers all aspects of the pediatric experience and is designed to increase your confidence and competence in managing pediatric patients.

- -Perform comprehensive cranial assessment techniques specific to pediatric patients, including palpation methods appropriate for different developmental stages
- -Identify common cranial subluxations and structural variations in children from infancy through adolescence
- -Apply safe, age-appropriate adjustment protocols for pediatric cranial conditions with modified force and technique
- -Recognize contraindications and red flags in pediatric patients that require referral or modified care
- -Develop confidence in patient communication and parent education strategies for pediatric care
- -Establish evidence-based protocols for managing common pediatric conditions including ear infections, colic, and torticollis
