CPR for the Healthcare Professional (June 20, 2026)

This course provides essential CPR recertification, a mandatory requirement for healthcare professionals to maintain their license in Colorado. Attendees will ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and enhance their readiness to respond effectively to medical emergencies.

• -Demonstrate proper hand placement and chest compression techniques for adults, children, and infants
• -Execute effective rescue breathing and maintain appropriate compression-to-ventilation ratios
• -Recognize signs of cardiac arrest and activate emergency response systems appropriately
• -Operate an automated external defibrillator (AED) with correct pad placement and timing
• -Respond confidently to choking emergencies using abdominal thrusts and airway clearing techniques
• -Apply CPR knowledge to healthcare-specific scenarios and high-risk patient populations
• -Maintain current CPR certification to meet Colorado state licensing requirements for healthcare professionals
