Chiropractic Risk Management

Dr. Morgan will review legal and medical risk management for your office. You will learn how to identify key areas of risk management in your office and with staff and patient relations. Learn potential legal and boundary issues and how to properly address or avoid them. Boundaries & Harassment between doctor, staff and patients will be discussed giving you a better understanding of how to handle specific situations. Understand how doctors and supervisors will be held responsible for the actions of their staff members and be able to identify what professional rules are as they relate to your practice.

• •Identify and assess key risk management vulnerabilities in chiropractic office operations, staff management, and patient interactions
• •Understand legal obligations and liability exposure related to professional boundaries, harassment, and misconduct
• •Apply best practices for establishing and maintaining appropriate boundaries between doctors, staff, and patients
• •Recognize supervisory responsibility and vicarious liability for employee actions and develop accountability systems
• •Develop protocols for documenting, addressing, and preventing boundary violations and harassment situations
• •Understand applicable professional regulations and licensing board standards as they apply to chiropractic practice
• •Create actionable risk mitigation strategies to protect your practice, staff, and patients from legal and ethical violations
