About This Event
To provide the Doctor of Chiropractic with a dynamic educational experience in a postgraduate review of the subluxation, applying chiropractic techniques to special populations, and the communication of chiropractic to patients, providers, and the public. A specialized course in the management of the vertebral subluxation complex as applies to special populations including pediatrics and pregnant women. Chiropractic analysis and adjusting is explored with various techniques. Evidenced based models of the principles of chiropractic.
Learning Objectives
- •Analyze and apply subluxation theory and correction techniques in the context of special populations including pediatric and pregnant patients
- •Evaluate evidence-based chiropractic principles and integrate current research into clinical decision-making
- •Demonstrate proficiency in adjusting techniques appropriate for vulnerable populations with modified protocols and safety considerations
- •Communicate chiropractic care effectively to patients, referring providers, and the general public using evidence-informed messaging
- •Develop strategies for managing vertebral subluxation complex across the lifespan with attention to anatomical and physiological differences in special populations
- •Assess contraindications and risk factors specific to pediatric and prenatal chiropractic care
