Chiropractic Documentation & Risk Management
About This Event
This live webinar teaches Texas chiropractors how to build defensible documentation and risk-management protocols that withstand payer audits, TBCE board review, and malpractice scrutiny. Instructor Dr. Michael Hall, DC, FIACN—a Board-Certified Chiropractic Neurologist with over 30 years of experience—translates regulatory and audit standards into day-to-day clinical practice.
Participants will learn to construct audit-ready SOAP note architecture, optimize EHR workflows to capture medical necessity without template errors, align coding and treatment to objective findings, and implement risk-management protocols under TBCE definition. The course covers payer audit patterns, documentation gaps that drive downcoding and recoupment, and corrective language strategies.
The webinar includes real-world case reviews and polling to reinforce compliance in everyday clinical practice. It satisfies the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners' annual requirement for 1 hour of recordkeeping/documenting/coding instruction plus 1 hour of risk-management training, and is recognized by 37 US states, 7 Canadian provinces, and 17 international regions through PACE accreditation.
Learning Objectives
