Certified Dry Needling Practitioner

This is a 52-hour Dry Needling certification course designed for chiropractors, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and athletic trainers. It aims to teach participants how, when, and why to utilize dry needling in clinical practice, providing lifetime access to course materials upon completion.

The curriculum begins with a brief history of dry needling, contrasting it with acupuncture, and delves into relevant regional and three-dimensional anatomy, as well as the pathophysiology of common disorders. Attendees will learn Dry Needling techniques for trigger points, myofascial pain syndromes, musculoskeletal injuries, and disorders, including musculotendinous, tenoperiosteal, and ligamentous applications.

A strong emphasis is placed on practical, hands-on practice, with participants reviewing clinical anatomy and performing Dry Needling treatments on lab partners. The course also covers safety protocols and the proper handling of potential blood-borne pathogens associated with dry needling applications. Upon completion, professionals will be credentialed to immediately begin helping patients.
