About This Event
This course applies the Gonstead system of analysis and adjusting to the pediatric patient. Attendees will be lead from case history to execution of correction in the pediatric patient from newborn through adolescent.
Learning Objectives
- -Apply Gonstead system analysis protocols specifically to pediatric patients from newborn through adolescent ages
- -Perform accurate case history techniques adapted for pediatric patients and their guardians
- -Identify anatomical and developmental differences relevant to Gonstead adjusting in children
- -Execute safe and effective Gonstead adjustments using appropriate modification for pediatric spinal structure and maturity
- -Recognize contraindications and special considerations when treating pediatric patients
- -Develop confidence in clinical decision-making for pediatric care using Gonstead methodology
