About This Event

Module 4 of the Chiropractic BioPhysics (CBP) seminar series focuses on structural rehabilitation of the cervical spine. It's held in the Bernstein Ballroom at The Westin Atlanta Perimeter North.

The course starts with the literature on cervical disorders, the role of spinal manipulation, and correcting sagittal cervical lordosis, including normal average and ideal lordosis values. It then works through categories of head-to-thorax posture, cervical kinematics, and abnormal sagittal alignment. You'll learn when and how to use postural and functional exercises for the neck and upper thoracic spine, and see demonstrations of 16 categories of sagittal cervical traction and 3 methods of coronal traction. Indications, contraindications, case management, and the supporting research are covered through case studies.

Instructors are Dr. Deed Harrison, Dr. Joe Ferrantelli, Dr. Don Meyer, and Dr. Jason Jaeger. Schedule (Eastern): Friday, November 20, 2:00–7:00 PM (5 CE hours) and Saturday, November 21, 9:00 AM–7:00 PM (9 CE hours), with lunch provided Saturday. Up to 14 CE hours are available. CE is pending approval by the state boards and isn't submitted to every state. CBP charges a separate fee for CE, and the event needs at least 20 registrants to run.

Dr. Jason Jaeger has been a chiropractic physician in Las Vegas since 2001. He is the Administrative Director of Advanced Spine & Posture, one of Nevada’s leading integrated physical medicine practices. As a visionary, he has grown AS&P into multiple locations nationwide, combining chiropractic, physical therapy, and regenerative medicine. Dr. Jaeger is one of only approximately 5000 chiropractors around the world trained in Clinical Biomechanics of Posture (CBP)®. Dr. Jaeger is also Board Certified in Nevada in CBP®. He is the developer of the Universal Tractioning System (UTS) and received the '2014 Researcher of the Year' award for the Advancement of Chiropractic Science at the Annual CBP® Research Symposium held in New York City. Dr. Jaeger attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) during his undergraduate program and graduate school at Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCUHS). He currently holds or has held adjunct faculty positions at Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier, CA; Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, KS; Parker University in Dallas, TX; and Palmer Chiropractic University in Davenport, IA. He is a past Secretary of the International Chiropractic Association’s (ICA) Research and Guidelines Committee (FACTS). Dr. Jaeger is the District IV Director to the NBCE and current Vice President. In May 2023 he was re-appointed by Governor Lombardo of Nevada to the Chiropractic Physicians Board of Nevada (CBPN). Dr. Jaeger was a past President of the CBPN. Dr. Jaeger is licensed to practice Chiropractic in Nevada and Idaho and is proud to bring his experience and enthusiasm to the Southern Nevada community. He is married to his wife Carrie and has two boys, Aden and Sebastian.
