About This Event
This six-hour distance based course will provide Doctors of Chiropractic with current information concerning the evaluation and management of the cervical spine. The course is designed for the general practicing Doctor of Chiropractic. The learner is actively tracked and engaged in this distance-based class by the use of interactive teaching tools including radiographic interpretation. This class includes three hours of X-ray.
Learning Objectives
- -Evaluate cervical spine pathology using proper radiographic techniques and interpretation methods
- -Apply evidence-based assessment protocols for cervical spine dysfunction and pain patterns
- -Develop comprehensive management strategies for common cervical conditions encountered in general practice
- -Interpret and analyze cervical X-rays including proper positioning, anatomical landmarks, and pathological findings
- -Establish appropriate treatment plans based on clinical findings and radiographic evidence
- -Recognize red flags and contraindications requiring referral or modified treatment approaches
