Business Ethics
About This Event
This presentation deals with business ethics as it directly relates to the chiropractic office. Small business owners are increasingly being held responsible and accountable for their ethical behavior. Practices have learned that the costs of unethical actions can be high, both legally, and from the perspective of the image and reputation of our profession. This course is designed to equip chiropractors with the knowledge to navigate these challenges effectively. The curriculum covers the fundamentals of ethics, specific chiropractic ethics, broader business ethics for practice owners, and crucial compliance ethics including HIPAA, OSHA, and OIG. Instructor Kristi Hudson, a Certified Professional Compliance Officer, will utilize her expertise to discuss common pitfalls that lead to unethical practices, providing practical insights through lectures, visual aids, and real-world case studies to help participants maintain high ethical standards and protect their practice's reputation.
