About This Event

This webinar will provide insights into the essential components of establishing a successful chiropractic practice geared towards high school athletes. Participants will learn about the specific injury prevention strategies and treatment approaches unique to this demographic. Emphasis will be placed on effective marketing techniques as well as the critical nature of examination, reporting, and treatment protocols. The course will feature two detailed case histories, one involving an athlete who has never been injured and another of an athlete experiencing injuries. This educational experience aims to enhance participants' understanding of the chiropractic needs of young athletes.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

-Identify and implement evidence-based injury prevention strategies specific to high school athletes across various sports

-Develop comprehensive examination and reporting protocols tailored to the adolescent athlete population

-Design and execute targeted marketing strategies to attract high school athletes and their families to a chiropractic practice

-Apply clinical decision-making skills through analysis of two contrasting case studies—preventative care for injury-free athletes and treatment management for injured athletes

-Establish appropriate treatment plans that address the biomechanical and developmental considerations unique to high school-aged patients

-Create systems for effective communication with athletes, parents, coaches, and medical professionals involved in athlete care
