About this event

A hands-on blood-analysis workshop from Fetterman Events at the Hilton Garden Inn in Lexington, Kentucky. Dr. Van D. Merkle, DC, DABCI, DCBCN, CCN, a board-certified clinical nutritionist and internist and founder of Science Based Nutrition, teaches chiropractors to use objective testing to recognize serious disease, uncover metabolic imbalances and guide nutrient recommendations, and to decide when a finding calls for referral or co-management.

Working from real case files, the course covers reading blood work and what testing costs a chiropractic office; CBC with differential and nutrient markers; glucose, hemoglobin A1c and triglycerides; cholesterol and cardiovascular risk; and kidney, liver, gallbladder and metabolic panels, correlated with hair analysis and urinalysis. Schedule (Eastern): Friday, February 12, 5:00–9:00 PM, and Saturday, February 13, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, for 12 CE hours (Kentucky approval in process).
