About This Event
This seminar teaches chiropractors the rationale, procedure, and interpretation of evidence-based in-office testing that will monitor ANS changes following your spinal care, comparing pre- and post-adjustment findings. The testing covered includes skin temperature analysis, resting heart rate and heart rate variability, and sit-to-stand heart rate testing.
Learning Objectives
- -Understand the anatomical and physiological rationale for monitoring autonomic nervous system (ANS) changes in chiropractic practice
- -Perform and interpret skin temperature analysis testing as an objective measure of ANS function before and after spinal adjustments
- -Conduct resting heart rate and heart rate variability assessments to evaluate parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous system balance
- -Administer and interpret sit-to-stand heart rate response testing as a functional ANS assessment tool
- -Compare pre- and post-adjustment findings to demonstrate clinical outcomes and patient progress
- -Apply evidence-based testing protocols to enhance patient education and treatment documentation
