About This Event
This course teaches spinal analysis and full spine adjusting for the newborn, infant and toddler populations including visual analysis and case history techniques. Spinal analysis procedures including muscle and motion palpation as well as adjusting techniques adapted from the Gonstead, Diversified and Logan Basic models will be presented. Techniques using the child drop headpiece are included. Expect extensive hands-on application.

- -Perform comprehensive spinal assessment techniques specific to newborn, infant, and toddler anatomy and physiology
- -Execute safe and effective full-spine adjusting techniques adapted from Gonstead, Diversified, and Logan Basic models for pediatric populations
- -Conduct thorough visual analysis and developmentally appropriate case history techniques for infants and children
- -Apply specialized palpation skills including muscle and motion assessment in the pediatric spine
- -Demonstrate proper positioning and use of child-specific drop headpiece adjusting equipment
- -Identify anatomical considerations and contraindications unique to infant and child spinal care
- -Integrate hands-on adjusting skills with clinical decision-making for pediatric patient management
