Activator Methods Seminar – Minneapolis/Bloomington
About This Event
Activator Methods International brings a weekend seminar to Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minnesota, the state where the technique began. The seminar celebrates 59 years of Activator Methods. On Saturday morning everyone attends a new session with Activator co-founder Dr. Arlan Fuhr on recognizing stroke and assessing risk in chiropractic practice. Attendees then split into two tracks.
The Basic/Intermediate track, taught by Dr. Joe Steinhouser, covers the Basic Scan protocol, refining leg-length checks, upper-extremity protocols, and when to adjust and when not to. The Advanced track focuses on head injuries and sports injuries. It covers cranial adjusting (Dr. Fuhr and Dr. Jamal DeVita), post-surgical care (Dr. Fuhr), sports injuries of the full spine and extremities (Dr. DeVita), and advanced testing beyond the basics (Dr. Fuhr and Dr. Jan Roberts).
Saturday lunch, a campus tour, and refreshments during the seminar are included. Activator has requested 12 CE hours from most states and provinces, but not from California, Pennsylvania, or Oklahoma. Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington has a room block for attendees.
