About This Event

One of the biggest healthcare crises the nation has ever seen is the battle against opioid-related deaths. This course addresses that crisis by providing current statistical data, risk factors, and clinical effects of opioids. Attendees will explore the biochemistry of feel-good chemicals, understand how the crisis evolved, and learn about the path to overdose.

The course covers topics related to awareness, prevention, and treatment of opioid addiction. It emphasizes Integrative Medicine's role in addressing this public health emergency and positions chiropractic care as a thought leader in prevention efforts. This course is designed for doctors of chiropractic who want to understand the opioid crisis and contribute to solutions within their practice and communities.
