2026 Adjust-a-thon
About This Event
The 2026 Adjust-a-thon is a continuing education program designed to prepare chiropractors and those in training to perform appropriate dynamic palpation assessments of spinal joints and surrounding soft tissues as part of a thorough examination. This event is led by a team of experienced chiropractors including Brett Winchester, DC, Lindsay Mumma, DC, Erika Mennerick, DC, Corey Campbell, DC, Terry Elder, DC, and Mark King, DC.
Attendees will gain practical skills and knowledge, with a strong emphasis on interpreting palpatory findings and correlating this information with other historical and examination data. The program aims to enhance diagnostic capabilities through hands-on learning.
Treatment options will also be a key focus, with discussions and demonstrations of diversified adjustive procedures. Participants are encouraged to bring a portable table and a speeder (toggle) board if available, to facilitate active participation and practice during the program.
Learning Objectives
- -Understand the fundamentals of joint complex dysfunction.
- -Perform static and dynamic joint assessments including palpation of the surrounding soft tissues of the cervical, thoracic, lumbar and pelvic regions.
- -Understand how posture impacts joint complex dysfunction.
- -Understand the indications and contraindications of when to utilize various adjustive procedures of the cervical, thoracic, lumbar and pelvic regions.
