2016-CA1: VITALS -- (Meets the OBCE -- CA Requirement for Initial Renewal) Presented by Dr. Andrea Herrst

This course is specifically designed for Chiropractic Assistants (CAs) who need to fulfill the required continuing education for their OBCE -- CA certificate initial renewal, focusing on the essential skill of taking VITALs. All CAs are mandated to complete 2 hours in Vitals, which must encompass both lecture and demonstration components as provided within this program. Beyond the online course, a practical session is a mandatory requirement for each CA, though not included in the two hours of the course itself. This practical component necessitates the completion of 20 documented checks for each of the following vital signs: blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and body temperature. A minimum of 10 different individuals must be tested to ensure a broad range of practical experience and proficiency in vital sign measurement.
